Project Vision -

To conceptualize, design and develop the best software factory CI/CD architecture, tool chains and pipelines for SW development in the Mercedes Benz cars. The project involves cutting edge functionalities in the fields of Autonomous driving, Electrification of vehicles and Connected vehicles.An exposure to complete Product lifecycle from concept stage to Aftersales will be obtained.
This shortens the development and the deployment time significantly thereby allowing more models to be released with greater quality, efficiency and sophistication.
You will get to work on the cutting edge tools and technologies like AWS Cloud, DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Gitlab, Terraform with engineering teams across 3 countries – USA, Germany and India. The pipelines service 10+ carlines for Mercedes Benz helping 300+ developers to build a stabilized software.

Mission- Deliver successfully the pipeline for SWF teams for MBOS Platform for CIEC and TCU
Experience – 5+ Years

Skill set:

• Knowledge on Software Development process (SDLC)
• CI/CD experience on Jenkins is mandatory. Knowledge on Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.

- Scripting languages - Python, Java/groovy, batch/shell

• Experience in writing programs (any language from the above list) is must for automating the process. OOPS concepts & design patterns are added advantages.
• Expert on Git and working experience on other Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence – version control is must
• Experience on AWS cloud platform is must. Hands-on for AWS serverless computing services and AWS container services is a plus. – AWS Lambda, AWS Fargate, ECS, EKS, CloudFormation, Elastic BeanStalk.
• Experience in integrating project specific tools to the CI\CD environment is necessary. Experience/knowledge on shared libraries is an added advantage.
• Knowledge on Bazel for build purpose.
  

Responsibilities:

• Understand the requirements and implement appropriate solution.
• Collaborate with various teams, team members to have an appropriate solution/requirement.
• Develop/Enhance toolchains using various technologies
• Participate, drive technical discussions, and explain AWS solutions and product options to meet customer needs.
• Bring in latest technologies and develop PoCs for problem statements.
• Setup and maintain loosely coupled CI pipeline end to end.
• Develop Jenkins build & release pipelines to support the software development process.
• Expertise creating testing & deployment stages in CI\CD
• Understand the automotive domain and continually improve CI/CD tools, processes and procedures.
